Great performance needs minor stage & sound tweeks
Fantastic job by both Initiate and Def Leppard! Initiate initially had some mixing issues, but they worked out the kinks. Def Leppard particularly sounded nearly like an album! I do understand the reasoning, and it's solid. Neal had three solo sessions, and being a musician myself, I could listen to that all day! However, that's not what fans come to hear. The performance critique would be in the solo appropriation. Maybe bring a bass solo into the mix or an instrumental compilation number? Arnel emulating one of the greatest vocalists of all time for an hour and a half is incredibly difficult.
I hope the stage managers or venue see this part of the review. The screens you've created are fantastic! The most valuable real estate at a concert nowadays are the screens, but I noticed a substantial portion went unused because it was designated for banners and such. Why? About 80% of your audience is either too far away or too short to actually SEE your performance without the FULL use of those screens being concentrated on the performers.
